Northern Territory: Litchfield National Park

We loved Litchfield National Park, it really is a must see destination whilst you are in the Top End.   It’s home to several stunning waterfalls that cascade into crystal clear pools, iconic magnetic termite mounds and clusters of weathered sandstone pillars at the Lost City.    There are plenty of bushwalking trails and 4WD tracks too. Northern Territory: Zebra Rock Mine, Katherine and Edith Falls

From the WA/NT Border, we travelled along the Victoria Highway and then turned off onto Duncan Road for 5km on a dirt road and then a further 5km on the access road to Zebra Rock Mine Gallery and Campground.  Well, what a little gem of a place this was!!!! Western Australia: Gibb River Road, Windjana Gorge/Tunnel Creek, Bungle Bungles

Western Australia: Eighty Mile Beach, Broome, Cape Leveque/Dampier Peninsula

And back to the Beach!!!!     Eighty Mile Beach is situated almost half way between Port Hedland and Broome.   From the Highway its about a 10 km drive on an unsealed red dirt road to Eighty Mile Beach Caravan Park.    The caravan park is located on the beachfront, behind the sand dunes  –  just lovely!!!!!
